Deborah J. Cann  BSc (Hons 1), LLB, BHSc 

 

Deborah J. Cann is a Naturopathic Doctor, Nutritionist, Herbalist, Eastern Medicine Practitioner, Life Coach and Massage Therapist.

Deborah is a member of the ANTA and ATMS (Australia) and FHT and CThA (UK)

 

‘About 20 years ago I had a serious car accident following which I couldn’t walk, speak, see, eat, smell or taste properly. The accident completely changed my life as previously I worked in London as a Solicitor. This was no longer possible and the long term effects of my accident were loss of smell and taste, back seizures, and major migraines. My back would seize all the time and I would be completely incapacitated and in immense pain. To get myself back on my feet and reduce my pain, I undertook several degrees and courses including: Astanga Yoga, Massage, Ayurvedic medicine,  Western Herbal Medicine, Western Nutritional Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine. I also undertook numerous and various diagnostic test over that period to fully understand how to get back on my feet and to be the healthiest I possibly could be.’

 

Deborah started as a Complementary Practitioner in 2003 and started the Ultimate Health Check practice in Australia in 2008. Whilst practising Deborah also worked as a Business Development Manager and Support Practitioner to GPs for a Diagnostic hub that looked after the top diagnostic companies throughout the world; for a catastrophic quadriplegic personal injury charity; and for St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Prior to her accident Deborah practiced as a personal injury, medical negligence and IP Solicitor.
